Covered parking for one car, additional parking for up to 8 cars in graveled circular parking area. 

Damage deposit is refunded after guest check out and following inspection of property for damages, missing or broken items, or unscheduled drain/refill/cleaning of hot tub due to misuse/fouling of water.  

Infants that are not yet mobile are allowed, however property does not lend itself to baby gates, etc. and is not "baby-proofed" or "child-proofed". 

Private compound with locked gate--combination to gate is provided 1 day prior to arrival.
House access is via keys, located in lock box on the front porch of home.  Lock box code is provided 1 day prior to arrival. 
Check in no earlier than 4:30 pm, unless arranged in advance, preferably 1 week in advance, as often lawn maintenance and housekeeping staff are on duty/on site.

Family friendly, however may not be suitable for small children, as property has multiple staircases, open decks, fireplaces and 2 ponds.  Adult supervision is required. 

Events such as parties or large gatherings are NOT permitted. Exterior cameras are utilized to enforce the "no parties/events" rule and maximum guest count (not to exceed 25 guests on property, including day visitors).  Immediate removal from the property without refund will result if unauthorized events take place. 

Full kitchen on main floor is well equipped with rice cooker, crock pot, waffle irons, electric knife, spice rack, turkey and ham roasting pans, pizza cutter, various baking pans--just ask if you don't see something listed. 
Second kitchen in Retro Apartment (located on 2nd floor) has coffee maker, toaster, hot pot, stove, oven, fridge, refrigerator (no ice maker), cookware and dinnerware/utensils for 4 guests.
Kitchenette located in basement/Viking Room Bar area has 4 burner electric stove (no oven), fridge with ice maker, kitchen sink and plastic cups for use in hot tub area, but no cookware or dinnerware/utensils. 

Close to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Maggie Valley and Asheville.

Maximum guests on property (including day visitors which must be registered in advance) is 25.  Maximum # of adults: 22, Maximum # of children 11, but not to exceed 25 total persons on the property, including infants and any day visitors. 

In addition to the outdoor hot tub, there is a fitness room located in the lower level of the home as well as a fire pit.

No pets/emotional support animals due to allergies and the presence of outdoor cats on the property--they are NOT permitted inside. 

No smoking, vaping or marijuana use of any kind on the property.  This applies to inside the home, as well as outside on the extensive grounds due to forest fire risk. 

6 flat screen TV's (no cable), including an 86” UHD Smart TV with sound bar in main living room.  Wi-fi is a hotspot and may be slow or spotty due to mountain location.

Our family loves to travel, exploring amazing destinations around the world, yet we always seem to gravitate back to the Waynesville/Maggie Valley region in the Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina.  After almost 20 years of vacationing in the area, we were at last able to purchase our dream home in Waynesville.  We love the area and are excited to share our unique mountain home with visitors to this tranquil mountain region.
